Account
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings › Account › Delete account (Ajustes › Cuenta › Eliminar cuenta) and confirm. It’s deleted straight away. If you can’t get in, email hola@pista.one with the subject “Delete account”. All the details are on this page.
Heads up: deleting your account doesn’t cancel Pista+. If you’re subscribed, cancel it with Apple first.
I need a break. Can I hide my profile?
Yes. In Settings (Ajustes) you can pause your profile: nobody new will see it, but you keep your matches and chats. Switch it back on whenever you’re ready.
I can’t sign in
Pista uses Sign in with Apple, so you need to use the same Apple account you signed up with. If it still doesn’t work, check your iPhone is online and that date and time are set automatically. If you still can’t get in, email us.
How do I change my city or location?
Pista uses your iPhone’s approximate location. If you’ve moved, open the app with location turned on and it updates by itself. You can check the permission in iPhone Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › Pista.
Pista+ and purchases
How do I cancel Pista+?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone:
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Go to Subscriptions and choose Pista.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Do it at least 24 hours before it renews. You keep Pista+ until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
How do I get a refund?
Payments are taken by Apple, so refunds are requested at reportaproblem.apple.com. We don’t have access to your payments.
I paid and it isn’t showing
Make sure you’re signed in to Pista with the same Apple account you bought with, and use the app’s restore purchases option. If it still doesn’t show, email us with the date of purchase and the product, but no card details.
Likes, Aces and Boosts
How many likes do I get?
Without Pista+ you get 12 likes a day, which reset at midnight Spanish mainland time. With Pista+ they’re unlimited. You can like a whole profile or something specific, like a photo, an answer or an achievement, and add a comment.
What’s an Ace?
A highlighted like, for when you really like someone. You get one free Ace a week, three with Pista+, and you can buy more in packs of 3 or 10.
What’s a Boost?
For 30 minutes your profile shows up among the first for people in your area. Pista+ includes one Boost a week, and you can buy more singly or in a pack of 5. Open the app seven days in a row and you earn one too.
Founders and invites
How do founder numbers work?
The first 1000 complete profiles in each city get a number, in order of arrival, at the moment you finish your profile. It shows on your profile like a race number and it’s yours for as long as you keep your account. If you delete the account, you lose it.
How do invites work?
When you finish your profile you get an invite code. Send it to whoever you like: if they sign up with your code and complete their profile, you both get 7 days of Pista+.
Safety
How do I report someone?
Open the menu on their profile or in the chat, tap Report (Denunciar), choose the reason and tell us what happened. We review every report and the other person won’t know it was you. If you’re in danger, call 112.
What happens when I block someone?
You’ll never see each other anywhere in the app again: not in the feed, likes or plans. If you’d matched, the match is removed.
I’m not getting notifications
Check they’re allowed in iPhone Settings › Notifications › Pista, and that you don’t have a Focus mode silencing them.
